It’s amazing that Baatin was written out of the who’s who of all musicians who exited the Earth in 2009. Not one mention on B.E.T., Grammy Awards, no magazines (not even the Source, XXL, Rolling Stone, etc…). I know, because I bothered to look. The more & more I don’t see him around, the more I believe that he was a special being to those who really mattered & appreciated what he taught us over the years. I never met Baatin, but I feel like he was a close cousin to me. His rhymes were all over the page, just like his art was all over the canvas, leaving you wondering what he would say next. There will never be another artist like him. Rest In Paradise, bro, you’re in a much better place, now.
